2009 Door Prize Rules

 

Adult Raffle

  1. All registered guests will receive 1 complimentary (blue) raffle ticket at check in.
  2. Addition adult raffle tickets will be available for purchase up to the time of the drawing. $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. Purchase additional raffle tickets at the registration desk in the dining hall.
  3. Participants will place ½ of their ticket in our NEW clear acrylic drum anytime prior to the raffle drawing. Tickets will be thoroughly mixed prior to EACH drawing. Adult tickets are drawn by one of the children in attendance.
  4. Winners are called by “number” not name.
  5. Ticket stub required to claim prize
  6. Winners can “pick their prize” off of the door prize table.
  7. The Grand prizes will be separate and last. All previously drawn tickets will be returned to the raffle drum for grand prizes.
  8. Drawings will continue until all door prizes are claimed.
  9. If you purchase extra tickets, it is possible that you may win multiple prizes.
  10. All door prize winners must complete a door prize information form. This is a two minute task, so we can write proper thank you notes to the sponsors with the winner’s name, address and phone number. We usually like to take your picture to send to the vendor as well – say “cheese”*
  11. Those registering for the “daily rate” will not receive a complimentary raffle ticket. But, they can purchase raffle tickets during the day at the registration desk.
  12. BMAA members, officers and organizers of the event are eligible to participate in the raffle. BMAA members follow same rules as any registered guest.
  13. A list of door prizes will be published in advanced on our website, in your registration packet and at our registration table. Additional prizes may be included as we receive them.

Children’s Raffle

  1. For registered children ages 5-14.
  2. All registered children between 5 and 14 will receive 1 complimentary RED children’s raffle ticket at check in.
  3. No additional children’s tickets will be sold during the event. 1 ticket only per child. Children registering for the day rate on Saturday are not eligible to participate in the raffle and cannot buy a children’s raffle ticket.
  4. Winners are called by “number” not name. Parents please assist.

*** Our intention is to provide all children with some kids of door prize at SDV. However, pre-registration helps us gauge the number of door prizes needed. The possibility exists that late registrations and walk-ons may not receive a prize. We try to select children’s prizes that are astronomically themed, but may substitute with prizes as available.
