POSTPONED – StarWatch at Nockamixon State Park – Sat. July 30th 2016 – POSTPONED

Scorpius the ScorpionUnfortunately the clouds have moved in and according to the weather people it’s only going to get worse the rest of today and tonight. The Starwatch will be rescheduled next week on Saturday August 6th. Hope you can all make it! 

Come visit the giant Scorpion lurking at Nockamixon State Park! On Saturday July 30th The Bucks-Mont Astronomical Association will be at the Tohickon Boat Access Area hosting their second public StarWatch of the summer. Come find out where the scorpion is hiding in the cosmos and also see his two nearby friends, Saturn and Mars. As this will be a Moonless night in the early evening, you’ll be in for a treat of seeing some of the more distant objects in the dark skies of Nockamixon State Park. The program begins at dusk.
